Hi! I am Henry Santos...character animator. Although I am extremely passionate about many aspects of my life, I am first and foremost a father, husband & friend. My family and friends are the center of my universe.
Born and raised on Guam, I am a Filipino-American Pacific Islander (a FAPI). Art has always been a big part of who I am. Since my childhood, I have loved animation. As a fan of Manga, Chuck Jones and Disney, I taught myself how to draw by copying my heros.
College ambitions brought me to San Luis Obispo where I received my Bachelor’s of Architecture from CalPoly. I later became a graphic artist for a small multimedia studio where I was able to develop my creative skills.
As an animator, I have tapped into my childhood dream. AnimationMentor was a godsend. My education there brought me knowledge, experience and camaraderie...but most of all, confidence. I know now that I can grow as an animator. Animation to me is the distillation of life. My many journeys and experiences create an abundant palette from where I can enrich my ideas.
My professional career and learning has just now begun. “Let the magic unfold and great stories be told.”
